This series is set in a fictional Australian country town called, Fragrance. It's a rural romance with a twist.

 Ellie Cooper is in Witness Protection and living in a small Australian town called Fragrance. She keeps a very low profile working as a groundskeeper for the 'Field of Stars' cemetery. Ellie lives by strict rules that have kept her alive. No relationships. No photos. No contact with anyone from her former life. She has maintained a solitary existence for three years until a local kindergarten teacher is found murdered within the cemetery grounds. As the media, police, and homicide detectives descend on Fragrance, Ellie’s carefully constructed life is thrown into disarray exposing her to the sinister threat she initially escaped. 

Detective Declan Kelly grew up in Fragrance, the town’s ruggedly handsome golden boy and son of an affluent founding family. In the Town’s eyes, he could do no wrong. Until he did. An incident changed his life, forever. Declan left Fragrance to join a paramilitary service and never looked back. He has three clear rules for women. No attachments. No complications. No promises. Assigned to investigate the murder, he reluctantly returns after a long absence and is intrigued to find a beautiful but guarded woman working at the cemetery. 

With a murder to solve and eccentric townsfolk to placate, Declan will need to utilize all his skills to protect the town and Ellie from the ominous threat headed their way.
